Under Mr. Wace's stewardship, the firm pioneered the development of the alpha capture system (known as TOPS), with assets actively deployed in Europe, Asia, and the US.
Mr. Wace was formerly global head of equity and derivative trading at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell (DMG), where he was responsible for equity sales trading, program trading, proprietary trading, stock lending, and balance sheet management. Prior to joining DMG in 1995, he worked for 11 years at SG Warburg, where in 1998, as Warburg's youngest director ever, he was appointed head of European equity sales and, in 1993, head of proprietary trading.
