Lee Ainslie
Managing Partner
Maverick Capital Management LLC.
Lee Ainslie is managing partner at Dallas-based Maverick Capital Management LLC. Before founding Maverick in 1993, he was a managing director at Tiger Management Corp. and was employed by KPMG Peat Marwick as a consultant for that firm's national director of information technology.
Mr. Ainslie serves as vice chairman of the board of The Robin Hood Foundation. He also is a trustee of the Green Vale School and is on the board of the University of Virginia's Jefferson Scholars Foundation.
Mr. Ainslie received a BS degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, where he was a Westmoreland Davis Scholar and a Thomas Pinckney Bryan Jr. Scholar. He holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina.
