SEMINARSBack to July 22, 2008 seminar Seth KlarmanPresident Mr. Klarman is national chairman of Facing History and Ourselves, a teacher training organization. He is a member of the board of Dean's Advisors at Harvard Business School, where he has been a senior lecturer on value investing and a member of the Alumni Board. He also serves as chairman of the Board of Directors for The David Project (Center for Jewish Leadership), is a member of the National Executive Committee of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), is on the Board of Directors of the Israel Project, is vice chair of Beth Israel Hospital's Board of Managers and a member of the hospital's Board of Trustees, and is a member of The Winsor School corporation. Mr. Klarman is also chairman of the Klarman Family Foundation and the author of Margin of Safety, a 1991 book that outlines his value investment philosophy. Mr. Klarman holds a BA, magna cum laude, in economics from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. |
